Patient Comments - July 2011

Today I was in for a CT scan of my neck. The person who helped me, Lynette, was probably the nicest, most knowledgeable person I have ever had in any medical facility. She is pleasant and helpful and puts a person very much at ease.

Denise Lesh is most helpful, maintaining such a great attitude. I want you to know you have wonderful staff. I thank all of you for your kindness.

Everyone at River Radiology, from the people who answer the phone, to the office girls and the technicians are wonderful, professional and friendly. Even though you are coming for a medical problem, everyone is so comforting and kind.

Denise Lesh, a wonderful person to greet patients, very professional and competent.

Toni in x-ray, what a dynamic and competent technician. She was awesome.

Susan Gray today gave me the least painful mammo I’ve ever had. Her technique and attitude are very much appreciated. Thank you.

I am very claustrophobic. Angie and Anna were unbelievably understanding, kind and compassionate. Without them I could not have gone through with the CT scan. I can’t thank them enough.

As always, all of the staff at River was so nice. Everyone is professional and concerned about the patients well being. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. The tech staff that takes the x-rays and MRI’s makes me feel relaxed. When I have a choice of going to the hospital or River Radiology, my choice is always your facility. I recommend River to all of my friends and family. Keep up the great job you all do. I can’t thank you enough for all your care.

Steve Marsessa is one wonderful guy! He really understands situations. Ann Anderson is very thoughtful. She didn’t think I was crazy asking a wild question. This place is great.

This is the most professional place, easy, always on time. It is always a pleasure, especially dealing with the staff.

I brought my mother in for her 1st mammogram in about 6 years. She is a breast cancer survivor and had a bad experience the last time she had a mammo. The River Radiology nurse who took care of my mother and me was absolutely fabulous. She put my mother at ease and I’m confident we will both return next year. Our nurse was Eileen. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

As always, the staff here is wonderful, accommodating, kind – they make difficult exams almost pleasant. I cannot imagine going anywhere else.

Susan was excellent. I have been having a very hard time finding doctors to be patient and caring. She displayed this and more. Very friendly, concerned and I enjoyed my first visit to River Radiology.

Your people are excellent, they explained all procedures. A very cool experience and short waiting time.

I can’t tell you how wonderful the staff is. I have terrible claustrophobia and dreaded having a CT scan. Kathy and Lynette made me comfortable. I can’t thank you all enough.

I have been coming here for many years and everyone is great and treat you as a person and not a number. I love coming here. Keep up the great work you all do. You are all great.

Following are comments patients made on the River Radiology Patient Satisfaction Survey 2006

The technologist was extremely caring and gentle. She explained everything before and while she was doing the exam. (Mammography)

I am glad my insurance covers River Radiology. Everyone there is so nice.

My appointment was on a Sunday afternoon and I was the only patient there. I don’t know whether my experience would have been good on a weekday, but I did have an excellent experience. Megan was extremely helpful and welcoming both on the telephone prior to my appointment and in person.

Gentleman giving my cat scan was very, very kind and most helpful.

Everyone is always helpful and polite. Very cheerful and efficient. Treated me as a human, did not rush. I trust these people and rely on them.

I had an 8AM appointment (Ultrasound) which worked well with only losing ½ hour work time. Early appointments for workers is a good thing.

Staff was very friendly, funny and entertaining especially Catherine. Very knowledgeable and put me at ease right away.

4:00 appointment, I was in on time which is rare when making appointments. Great job.

The technologist is someone who has been doing my test for years. She is like a friend and makes the test very non-threatening. (Mammography)

This is the most efficient organization I have dealt with. Staff is excellent, courteous, respectful, aware regarding concerns I might have when I am there, both physically and emotionally. Better magazines – if that’s all I can name for improvement, you’re doing really well.

I have been using your facility for several years and have never had a bad experience.

You are the best facility we have ever dealt with in this area- thank you for being so pleasant to deal with. (CT)

The appointment personnel, very caring and understanding. Front desk helpful and courteous. Techs and nurses are very professional and caring. Don’t change.

Catherine was an excellent nurse with the needle.

Everyone was just absolutely wonderful – as always- you can’t improve on perfection. (MRI)

My experience with the MRI I had there recently was made a lot easier with Barbara going in with me. It’s not easy being claustrophobic. She is a great asset and I again would like to thank her and you for having her there.

Had to reschedule 3 times because of weather – very cooperative and understanding.

I was so scared and it was a breeze. Everyone was so helpful and caring. Thank you Barbara for being there . (MRI & X-ray).

You all do a good job, a quality place to have exams performed.

Sunday hours are a huge help! I appreciated that I was called the evening before to give me alternative driving direction due to the St. Patricks Parade. Excellent staff. (MR & X-Ray)

Everyone worked hard to adjust schedules to my needs, a real team effort. There was apparent concern for my comfort. The nursing supervisor, Cathy was extremely helpful dispelling the concerns I had with the CT contrast. Dr. Connors went well above expectations working with my referring doctor to keep things moving. 2 weeks from my first appointment for corrective surgery, some teamwork (MR,CT, PET, Bone Scan)

I have been for my tests – CT etc. at area hospitals and I have to say that River Radiology has the nicest, friendliest, caring staff.

Continue as you are – everyone was courteous, helpful – everything was clean and spotless, all staff are neat and professional.
